Tax office tacit consent: rulings to favor taxpayers

A draft amendment to the Tax Ordinance proposes that if a tax office fails to issue a decision within a specified deadline, the matter will be automatically resolved in the taxpayer's favor — so-called tax office tacit consent. The solution was developed by Rafał Brzozka's deregulation team, and the government has now begun legislative work on it. It aims to end situations where offices deliberately drag out rulings.
