Russian helicopter violated Polish airspace over Braniewo
On Wednesday a Russian military helicopter entered Polish airspace over Braniewo for 42 seconds, flying roughly 300 meters into Polish territory before returning to Kaliningrad region. The military scrambled fighter jets but the aircraft managed to retreat. Former commanders of the Air Operations Center characterize the incident as typical Russian "scratching," noting that in peacetime Poland's main recourse is diplomatic notes.
