Trump-Xi summit: relative calm in trade rather than breakthrough accord
Xi Jinping's Washington visit is unlikely to produce a major agreement between the US and China. It may, however, provide a period of relative calm in economic relations between the two powers, giving them time for further negotiations without escalation of trade tensions.
