Evonik to eliminate 3,200 jobs, mainly in Germany

German chemicals conglomerate Evonik of Essen announced the elimination of 3,200 jobs worldwide. Cuts will affect primarily German workers. This is another major restructuring in German industry following similar announcements by other companies in the country.
