ICC convicts former commander of Central African Republic rebels of war crimes

The International Criminal Court found Mahamat Said Abdel Kani guilty of torture and crimes against humanity. Kani commanded a detention unit in the Central African Republic that held political prisoners. This is another ICC verdict related to the conflict in that country.
