Category 5 Hurricane Polo approaches Mexico's coasts

Hurricane Polo in the Pacific intensified to Category 5 with maximum wind gusts of 265 km/h, making it one of the most powerful cyclones on that ocean in decades. The U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) called it "extremely dangerous." The storm is expected to bypass Mexico's southwestern coast.
