ICC convicts Central African militia commander for torture and persecution

The International Criminal Court has convicted Mahamat Said Abdel Kani, a former Seleka rebel commander, of persecution and torture as crimes against humanity. The crimes occurred while he ran a prison in Bangui, capital of the Central African Republic. This is another ICC ruling on crimes committed during conflict in the country.
