Ethiopian Airlines suspends all flights to Tigray over escalation concerns
Ethiopian Airlines has suspended all air service to the northern Tigray region over fears of escalating fighting between federal and regional forces. The airline acted in response to mounting military tension in this part of Ethiopia. The Tigray region was previously the site of one of Africa's bloodiest internal conflicts.
