Security guard killed at Oktoberfest when seat falls from tower

Aleksandar Spasic, a 52-year-old Serb working as a security guard at Oktoberfest in Munich, died Monday evening during his first work shift. The man was struck by a falling seat in the free-fall tower attraction zone. His family, who live in Augsburg, does not understand why he was in an area that should have been off-limits to staff.
