34 migrants hidden behind refrigerator wall arrested on A2 near Poznań
On September 14, Border Guard officers from Poznań-Ławica stopped a Ford and a refrigerated Renault truck on motorway A2, both driven by Serbian citizens. Behind a false wall in the cargo section, 34 foreigners from Pakistan, Egypt, Somalia, Sudan, Ethiopia, Tunisia and Eritrea were discovered traveling from Lithuania to Germany. All possessed documents for international protection from Latvia or Lithuania and were handed over to the Lithuanian side under readmission, while the two drivers were charged with participating in an organized criminal group and organizing human trafficking.
