BYD and other Chinese automakers seek to acquire car factories in Europe

Chinese automotive companies, led by BYD, are intensively looking for ready-made factories in Europe to quickly launch local production. The most likely locations for BYD are Spain and France. Other Chinese manufacturers also have similar plans to acquire European facilities, intensifying competition on the continent.
