Experimental drug CS18 may overcome tumor drug resistance

A new experimental drug called CS18 disables several defense mechanisms tumors use to survive chemotherapy. In laboratory studies it restored sensitivity to drugs in resistant lung cancer cells and slowed tumor growth in animal models. It may enhance the effect of already-used cancer therapies.
