Seven armed groups form alliance against Ethiopian government

Seven Ethiopian armed groups announced the creation of an alliance aimed at overthrowing the government, raising concerns about a renewal of armed conflict in the country. Ethiopia has not fully recovered from the devastating civil war in Tigray in recent years, in which hundreds of thousands died.
