F-16 fighter jet crashes near US base in Spangdahlem, Germany
An American F-16 fighter jet crashed near the US air base in Spangdahlem in Rhineland-Palatinate in western Germany. Local media reported that residents saw plumes of smoke. According to the Bild newspaper, one person suffered minor injuries. Rescue services are at the scene.
