Constitutional Court: judicial impartiality test for new judges violates constitution
On Tuesday the Constitutional Court ruled that regulations governing the judicial impartiality test — a tool to assess independence and status of so-called "new judges" — violates the constitution. President Andrzej Duda proposed the test. The ruling blocks the ability to verify judges appointed by the new judicial commission.
