Armed group shuts pipeline from Libya's largest oil field El Sharara
An armed group closed a valve on the pipeline connecting the El Sharara oil field to the port of Zawiyah, halting production at the deposit accounting for roughly one-third of Libya's total oil output. State oil company NOC warned it may declare force majeure, which would suspend deliveries to foreign customers. The situation threatens Libya's crude export stability.
