Government to raise alcohol excise tax, allocate 1.4 billion zloty to healthcare

Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced ahead of the cabinet meeting that the Council of Ministers will propose legislation to increase excise tax on alcohol. All additional budget revenue of 1.4 billion zloty is to be guaranteed exclusively for healthcare financing under the law.
