11-year-old attacks 10-year-old classmate with axe at school near Kolno

In a school hallway in Ptaki near Kolno (Podlaskie province), moments before first bell, an 11-year-old boy attacked a 10-year-old girl with an axe. He struck her multiple times in the upper body, mainly the head. The girl was taken to a pediatric hospital in Białystok with injuries in multiple locations — she is frightened but her condition is stable.
