Stratospheric balloon to launch September 23 from Lublin Polytechnic
As part of the XXII Lublin Science Festival, a helium-filled stratospheric balloon will launch between 10:00 and 12:00 on September 23 from the field of Lublin Polytechnic. It will carry a research capsule with measurement equipment and sensors transmitting data from high altitudes. Before launch, scientists will explain the balloon's construction, the mission and successive flight stages – from ascent through the stratosphere to capsule recovery by parachute.
