20-year-old arrested for defrauding over 297,000 zł through "police imposter" scam

Criminal police in Zamość arrested a 20-year-old who played the role of "collector" in "police imposter" scams. He took over 230,000 zł from an 89-year-old woman and over 67,000 zł from an elderly couple. The court has remanded him in custody for 3 months; he faces up to 10 years in prison for fraud involving significant property.
