ICE hides whereabouts of thousands of deportees: lawyers cannot locate them

The U.S. immigration agency ICE stopped publicly disclosing where it holds most detainees subject to deportation orders. Lawyers and families of deportees now face serious difficulty determining their clients' and relatives' locations. Previously this data was available in a public tracking system.
