Hungary refuses to join Ukraine's Carpathian Eight initiative

Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar announced that Budapest will not join the Carpathian Eight (C8) initiative — a regional cooperation project launched by Ukraine aimed at strengthening security through joint ventures and investments. Magyar announced the decision Tuesday to Kyiv Post, citing the Hungarian news site HVG.
