Microsoft ends support for Windows 11 24H2 in October 2026

Microsoft announced it will end monthly security updates for Windows 11 version 24H2 in Home, Pro, Pro Education and Pro for Workstations editions on October 13, 2026. This affects millions of computers. Enterprise and Education editions of the same build will retain support until October 2027. Users should upgrade to Windows 11 25H2.
