Police dismantle "grandchild" and "police officer" scam gang in Gdańsk
Officers from Regional Police Headquarters in Gdańsk, with support from counterterrorism units from Gdańsk and Katowice, arrested five members of an organized crime group that defrauded people using the "grandchild," "bank employee," and "police officer" schemes. Four men were remanded in custody by a court, while a 33-year-old woman is under police supervision. One suspect faces additional robbery charges. The Regional Prosecutor's Office in Gdańsk oversees the investigation.
