Wałbrzych: 20-year-old arrested as "collector" in scams targeting seniors

Police from the Criminal Division of Wałbrzych Police arrested on September 18 a 20-year-old resident of Świdnica county suspected of involvement in "accident" scams. The man allegedly served as a "collector" — receiving cash from deceived seniors and passing it on. Four counts of fraud were filed against him for incidents in Wałbrzych, Głogów, Wolbrom and Kraków. He faces up to 8 years in prison.
