Drug ring smashed in Łódź region: 7 arrested, nearly 800g of drugs and 25,000 zł seized

On 16 September, officers from Łódź, Zgierz, Pabianice, Poddębice and Łęczyca, supported by counter-terrorism units from three cities, arrested seven people — five men and two women aged 30–51 — suspected of drug trafficking. About 800g of mephedrone, marijuana and MDMA were seized, along with nearly 25,000 zł likely from drug sales. Five of the arrested were remanded in custody; all face up to 12 years in prison.
