Stem cells reversed stroke effects in mice and restored movement

Scientists showed that stem cell transplant helped regenerate brain tissue damaged by stroke in mice — new neurons were created and lost motor function was restored. The therapy also improved blood vessel condition, reduced inflammation and strengthened the blood-brain barrier. The research results offer hope for developing a similar treatment method for strokes in humans.
