US to cut Iranian airlines from world airports with sanctions from Wednesday

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced that Iranian airlines will be cut off from ground handling at airports worldwide under threat of American secondary sanctions. The restrictions are set to take effect Wednesday. Secondary sanctions could also hit airports and companies from other countries servicing Iranian carriers.
