Domański urges Nawrocki to sign law taxing windfall profits of fuel firms
Finance Minister Andrzej Domański called on President Karol Nawrocki to sign a law imposing tax on extraordinary profits of fuel companies. The law, passed by the Sejm, is to bring 4 billion zloty to the budget and fund the "Lower Fuel Prices" program. Nawrocki previously referred an earlier version of the law to the Constitutional Court without signing it and proposed his own bill — full exemption of fuel sales from retail tax.
