India to cut Russian oil imports after Trump signs sanctions law

India is preparing to reduce purchases of Russian crude oil after President Donald Trump signed legislation enabling 100 percent tariffs on importers of the commodity from Russia. India is one of the main buyers of Russian oil since the invasion of Ukraine; its withdrawal would be a serious blow to Russian export revenue.
