Nobel Prize reaches historic record: 12 million Swedish kronor

The Nobel Foundation has increased the Nobel Prize value to 12 million Swedish kronor (over 1 million euros), the highest amount in the award's 125-year history. The decision applies to this year's laureates. The previous financial record for the prize is thus broken.
