Google fined 403 million euros by Ireland for GDPR violations

Ireland's Data Protection Commission (DPC) has imposed a 403 million euro penalty on Google for breaching GDPR rules. Three search engine features processed users' location data for advertising without their knowledge. It is one of the highest fines in the history of European digital privacy regulations.
