Moody's: new government after 2027 must cut deficit sharply
Moody's lead analyst for Poland, Heiko Peters, warned during a webinar that after the 2027 parliamentary elections, the new government and president will have to take consolidation measures in public finances. If they do not do so voluntarily, domestic fiscal rules will force automatic and more severe budget adjustment. Moody's points to growing risks for Polish public finances in the medium-term perspective.
