Venice considers raising entry fee to 50 euros

Venice authorities are considering raising the entry fee for one-day tourists — from the current 5–10 euros to 30, or even 50 euros per person (approximately 217 zł). The decision follows an assessment that the current rate is not effectively limiting crowds during peak season. The fee increase aims to discourage visits during the busiest times.
