Four World War II mortar shells found in Wisła near Józefów

On Saturday, a resident of Józefów gmina found four objects in the river during a walk. An officer from the Non-Staff Mine-Clearance and Pyrotechnic Recognition Group confirmed they were mortar shells from World War II, lying between stones in the water. The area was secured and a military sapper patrol removed the shells for neutralization at a range.
