Hit-and-run driver in Żory: 72-year-old was under the influence

Friday morning on ul. Folwareckiej in Żory, a Kia driver swerved around a parked car at a pedestrian crossing and struck a man, then fled. Moments later another pedestrian went to the police station claiming the same driver had hit him too. Officers quickly identified the driver — a 72-year-old man who turned out to be under the influence of alcohol.
