Gdansk: arrested man sought for jewelry store burglary — losses exceed 720,000 euros

Police from the Regional Police Headquarters in Gdansk arrested a 55-year-old man wanted on the basis of a European Arrest Warrant issued by a German court. The man allegedly served as a driver enabling the group to flee after a jewelry store robbery. The total value of stolen items and building damage exceeded 720,000 euros. The court ordered his detention pending extradition to German justice.
