Gdańsk: suspect arrested in jeweler heist with losses of 720,000 euros
Police from the Gdańsk Regional Command arrested a 55-year-old on a parking lot who was wanted under a European arrest warrant issued by a court in Germany. The man allegedly served as the driver during a break-in at a jewelry store—the total value of stolen items and damages came to over 720,000 euros. The court ordered his remand in custody; the 55-year-old is to be handed over to German justice. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
