False bomb alert in Poznań: suspect called from neighbor's phone

On Sunday, September 13, a 34-year-old resident of Bolesława Chrobrego estate in Poznań made a false report of an explosive device in two apartment blocks. The woman called 112 from a mobile phone borrowed from a neighbor to mislead authorities. Police, bomb experts and police dogs checked the buildings — no threat was found and evacuation was not necessary. The suspect was arrested the same day.
