Fatal collision on S8 in Prosienice: Mercedes driver fled on foot

On Sunday morning at kilometer 558 of the S8 highway in Prosienice (Białystok direction), a Mercedes and Seat collided. The Mercedes driver left the scene and attempted to flee on foot — a 39-year-old from Podlaskie province was detained by a road patrol. A Seat passenger died despite resuscitation; another was hospitalized. The prosecutor is investigating.
