Russia plans to increase kamikaze drone production by 78% by 2029

According to Rosatom documents obtained by Politico, Moscow plans to expand the Alabuga-Volokno factory in Tatarstan. The facility is to produce an additional 500 tons of aircraft-grade carbon fiber annually, enabling production of 28,000 more kamikaze drones per year — a 78% increase. Ukraine estimates Russia currently produces over 36,000 Geran-type drones annually. These drones attack Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure; one recently hit a passenger train near the Polish border.
