Man arrested in Bydgoszcz after setting car and store roof ablaze with bottles
In the night of September 1-2 at around 23:30, an unknown man threw a bottle at a parked car on Gdańska Street in Bydgoszcz, starting a fire, then ignited the roof of a nearby discount store with another bottle. Firefighters extinguished the blaze before it spread — the car and part of the store roof were damaged. Police identified the perpetrator and arrested him on September 14 in Śródmieście. The next day the 44-year-old was charged with destruction of property of a hooligan nature.
