Military plans to recruit up to 20,000 professional soldiers in 2027

A draft regulation from the Defence Ministry foresees enlisting up to 20,000 people for professional military service in 2027, 6,500 more than last year. The plan also includes recruiting up to 5,800 people for active reserve and up to 35,000 for voluntary basic military service.
