Wójcik secures European boxing medal with dominant quarterfinal victory

Elżbieta Wójcik decisively defeated Ireland's Clioná Darcy in the European boxing championship quarterfinals in Sofia. The Polish boxer secured advancement to the semifinals and guaranteed a medal. It was Poland's first semifinal appearance at these championships.
