Moody's cuts Poland's rating from A2 to A3 after 24 years
Rating agency Moody's downgraded Poland's credit rating from "A2" to "A3", citing high fiscal deficits and rising debt servicing costs. The previous rating had remained in place for 24 years. Economists point out that the main cause is budget deficit and the failure of politicians to respond to the deteriorating fiscal situation.
