Divers photograph 25 objects from submerged medieval town of Shipden
Off the coast of Cromer in Norfolk, divers photographed 25 man-made objects that may belong to Shipden — a medieval town swallowed by the North Sea around 700 years ago. The discovery documents the remains of a settlement that gradually disappeared underwater in the Middle Ages.

Byłem kiedyś na nurkowaniu przy podobnym miejscu na Bałtyku i to niesamowite jak szybko morze potrafi przykryć konstrukcje – parę metrów mułu i po sprawie, nic nie widać bez specjalistycznego sprzętu. Ciekaw jestem czy tam też są problemy z prądami, bo takie płytkie wody przybrzeżne potrafią być zdradliwe.
