Lagarde blocked MiCA license for Binance in the EU

ECB President Christine Lagarde intervened to block Binance from obtaining a MiCA license in the European Union, according to the Wall Street Journal. The ECB formally lacks licensing authority under MiCA, but high-level intervention led Greece to suspend review of an application that regulators had previously deemed complete.
