Grenade found in Pruszcz Gdański apartment, 72 people evacuated

On September 14 evening, police in Pruszcz Gdański detained a 37-year-old man with marijuana. The next morning they searched his apartment and found an object resembling a grenade and a firearm. 72 people from 75 apartments in the building were evacuated. The grenade was taken to a military range, where it was confirmed to be a combat grenade from World War II — it did not detonate. The 37-year-old was remanded in custody.
