Sejm unanimously passes personal assistance law for disabled
On September 18, the Sejm unanimously passed a law on personal assistance for people with disabilities. The law aims to transform the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, though disability rights activists note the document contains gaps requiring amendments. Bartosz Tarnowski, an activist, called it a "gigantic change," adding that the long and exhausting legislative process makes it hard to fully celebrate this success.
