Germany defeats Bulgaria 3:2, will face Poland in European Championship quarterfinal

In the round of 16 of the European volleyball championships, Germany defeated favored Bulgaria 3:2 in Sofia despite trailing 0:2 after the first two sets. Germany reversed the course of the match and eliminated the tournament hosts. Poland's team under Nikola Grbić will face Germany in the quarterfinal.
